Students from six high schools in the mandal participate in the Quiz
Bommanhal Zilla Parishad High School team won the first prize in the RBI All India Quiz.
Reserve Bank of India All India Quiz was inaugurated by Mandal Educational Officer (MEO) Mallikarjuna at Mandal Resource Center on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, the MEO said that students should take advantage of this quiz conducted by RBI on financial literacy. He urged the students to develop competitive spirit and excel as winners. He congratulated the quiz-participants and wished them success.
Students of six schools in Bommanahal mandal participated in this quiz which started at 11 am. As stipulated by RBI, two students from each Zilla Parishad High School formed a team... Sneha, Navyashri from Devagiri, Amritalakshmi, Yehoshua from Uddehal, Chinmai, Tarun Kumar from Bommanahal, Sukanya, Sindhuja from Chandragiri, Panduranga, Nagesh from Nemakallu, Anil Kumar, Teja Murti from Dargah Honnur participated in the quiz.

The participants completed the 20 multiple choice question paper within thirty minutes. Bommanahal Team won the first prize of Rs. 5000, Nemakallu team won the second prize of Rs. 4000, and Uddehal team won the third prize of Rs. 3000.
Speaking on the occasion, the quiz management team said that Reserve Bank of India is conducting an all-India quiz for students studying in class 8, 9 and 10. They said that by focusing on the government and municipal schools, the quiz will be started at the block level and conducted at the district, state and zonal levels and after various levels, the national level quiz will end within a fixed time frame. There will be a question paper with 20 multiple choice questions in Telugu and English languages on matters related to banking and financial system including G20. All the participants in this quiz will be given a certificate. The first prize winning team will represent the mandal in the district level quiz, they said.
Andhrapragati Grameen Bank officer Sushant Kumar, Coordinator Manju, Devagiri Zilla Parishad High School English teacher Mercy Vijaya Leela, Ravi Kumar, Shashawali, Bhogeshwar and others participated in this quiz program.
