OUR REVIEW
The Film is trying to be about Half a Dozen Different Things : a Buddy Comedy, a Spy Drama, a Raunch Fest, a Thrilling Action Film... We get lots of Fun Bits for a Deluge of Character Actors. Gillian Anderson shows up as the big MI6 Boss and her interactions with McKinnon are a Delight. Produced by Brian Grazer and Erica Huggins´s Imagine Entertainment and Lionsgate, this Release has Style and Production Value to spare. The Actors are solid, Everybody looks good, the European Locations are lovely and the Genre Trappings are very good.... It´s no High Art, but it is Good Fun. The Pleasure is relatively Consistent throughout its 117-Minute Running Time.
