THE STORY
Harold Soyinka (David Oyelowo) works for Cannabax Technologies Inc, a Company that has developed the "Weed Pill", Medical Marijuana that has been simplified into a Pill. Harold gets to know the Rumor that the Company will be going forward with a Merger but is denied by his Boss Richard Rusk (Joel Edgerton) who also happens to be his Friend. Elaine Markinson (Charlize Theron) and Richard Rusk, travel with him to Mexico to handle the Manufacturing of the Product. Harold stays back Faking Kidnapping to benefit from the Company Policy of 2 million Dollars if anything was happen to him in Mexico during a Business Visit....

Harold Soyinka, a Midlevel Executive at a Chicago Pharmaceutical Company, is Originally from Nigeria and a Perfect Sucker, an Innocent whose Trusting Good Nature makes him an Easy Target for Grifters, Scammers and Liars. There are a lot of those in his Life, including his wife, Bonnie (Thandie Newton), and his boss, Richard (Joel Edgerton).
David Oyelowo, the International Mercenary Mitch Rusk played by Sharlto Copley (running a Nonprofit Organization in Haiti), Yul Vazquez as Angel Valverde (an Undercover FBI Agent) are without a Doubt the Best Things in “Gringo,“. The All-Star Pulp Fiction Style Film is in Itself Practically a Genre. Get a Bunch of Famous People Together, get them mixed up in some Very Complicated Caper or Heist or Scam, run them around in Circles until something Funny or Frightening Happens. Foreign Locales and Cheesy Soundtrack Cuts are a Plus....
